Co-located in Cologix’s Scalelogix COL3-S — the region’s largest carrier-neutral data center and the cornerstone of our platform.

Through our partnership with Cologix, clients benefit from unparalleled access to top carriers and direct hyperscale cloud connectivity. We are co-located in Cologix’s recently built, $130M+ Scalelogix COL3-S facility—the region’s second-largest carrier-neutral data center after COL4—spanning 160,000 square feet and directly linked to the nearby COL1, COL2, and COL4 facilities, with a future connection planned to the upcoming COL5 site as well.
Certified as a Tier III facility, COL3-S has undergone rigorous construction that not only aligns with its original design but also fulfills stringent availability standards. Its 18+ MW of power supply is backed by 8 generators, making the facility exceptionally reliable.
Distinctive features include EF-4 tornado resistance, K-rated perimeter fencing, and round-the-clock security—with 7 biometric checkpoints between the front gate and our cage, ensuring an exceptional level of physical protection.
The combination of redundancy, scale, security, and connectivity available at Cologix gives Cloud Propeller ample room to meet growing market demand within one of the region’s most sophisticated data centers.

These certifications apply to the underlying Cologix data center and its operations, not to Cloud Propeller’s managed platform or to individual client environments.
While these certifications apply to the underlying Cologix facility rather than to Cloud Propeller’s platform itself, our infrastructure design, client isolation model, and operational controls support organizations with demanding regulatory and security requirements.
Today, clients use Cloud Propeller for HIPAA-related environments, PCI DSS-aligned workloads, and Criminal Justice Information (CJI)-sensitive systems, including workloads involving Ohio LEADS, Ohio BMV driver and vehicle records, and related federal criminal justice information services.
All Cloud Propeller engineers are fingerprinted, background checked, and required to maintain Ohio LEADS training and certification access requirements. Cloud Propeller signs Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) where appropriate for HIPAA-related clients.

Power redundancy, structural resilience, physical security, and carrier diversity are not optional features—they are foundational requirements for the infrastructure on which we build our cloud.
Every SLA, every DR runbook, every uptime number we publish ultimately depends on the slab of concrete our gear is sitting on. That’s why we chose a Tier III, carrier-neutral, EF-4-rated campus as our primary footprint—and why we keep a second, independent site across town for disaster recovery.
Secondary 26K SQFT Facility for DR and Off-Site Backup

The WOW! Columbus data center (CMH1) provides a highly secure and reliable environment for IT infrastructure, spanning over 26,000 square feet with potential expansion to 52,000.
It features an on-site Network Operations Center (NOC) offering round-the-clock support and system monitoring.
The facility is equipped with both AC and DC power supplies, with a backup generator ready to sustain the DC for up to 48 hours during a utility failure, supported by a priority refueling contract. Environmental controls are maintained at 72°F and 30–60% humidity through an N+1 configured system with 13 × 20-ton HVAC units.
Security and operational integrity are monitored by the on-site NOC using a Falcon alert system with real-time notifications for HVAC, generators, fire alarms, and environmental conditions. Physical security includes video surveillance, key-card access, and biometric systems.
This secondary facility serves chiefly as a destination for clients requiring multi-data-center Cloud Infrastructure (100% availability), as a failover target for primary-DC clients using our Zerto DR solution, and as a secondary site for off-site Veeam backups.

Colocation in Our Primary Data Center
If you need to place physical hardware in our primary Cologix facility, Cloud Propeller can accommodate deployments ranging from a few rack units (RUs) to approximately half a rack within our securely caged environment.

Well suited to hybrid deployments that combine Cloud Propeller cloud infrastructure with client-owned physical systems—private storage arrays, dedicated firewalls, or other purpose-built appliances that benefit from close proximity to their cloud workloads.
We provide sub-leased colocation space with white-glove service, remote hands, and operational assistance—ideal for modest footprints that don’t warrant contracting directly for a full rack. Blended Internet access, a 100 Gbps-capable Spectrum NID in our meet-me rack, and direct Ohio IX connectivity are already in place.
For deployments over half a rack we generally recommend engaging Cologix directly—they’re better positioned for competitive full-rack pricing. Power is delivered through our existing 208V/30A 3-phase infrastructure, so equipment must match. Because our cage also supports regulated and CJI-sensitive environments, client personnel are not permitted inside unescorted.
